About the event

This workshop explores the power of writing about war, grief, and trauma—not only as a form of expression, but as an act of social justice. We will discuss how to ensure that no type of pain is ‘unspeakable’, and will reflect on how storytelling can incorporate silence, resist erasure, and safeguard truth.

We’ll explore the possibilities of creative non-fiction—experimenting with voice, structure, and form, making space for difficult experiences and the language that might carry them.

No writing experience needed—just a willingness to listen, reflect, and give it a go.
