Rally "Stand with Ukraine"

We all carry responsibility for our future. This war is happening on our doorstep, in Europe.  If Russia is not defeated, we enter an era of political upheaval and nuclear terror. There have been many decisive moments in history, and we are living that moment now. This is the time to stand together, support Ukraine's war efforts, and pray for peace. The rally will take place at Bedford Square from 14:30.  At 15:30, we'll move into St. Stephens Church for a short prayer. This will be followed by worldwide Ukrainian War Time Poetry readings 'Reading For Odesa'*, in partnership with the University of Exeter and the Exeter City of Literature. These readings will be also accompanied by children's drawings to be sent to Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines.

*Reading for Odesa is a cultural event that takes place simultaneously in Milan and in 14 other UNESCO Creative Cities of Literature that have joined the initiative: Wroclaw, Krakow, Edinburgh, Exeter, Iasi City, Kuhmo, Lillehammer, Ljubljana, Manchester, Melbourne, Nottingham, Quebec City, Reykjavik, Tukums.
