About the event
The "Mariupol Drama" is a poignant testimony from actors who were present with others inside the theater during tragic events. Personal items they brought are integrated into the production, along with videos filmed by the authors that are saved on the narrators' smartphones.
This 60-minute play captures the most intense episodes of a complete story, allowing the audience to directly experience that reality.
On stage, viewers witness several survival stories from the drama theater, recounted by Vira Lebedynska (head of the music and drama department), Olena Bila, and Ihor Kytrysh — a family of actors alongside their schoolboy son Matvii.
